Standard First Aid/CPR Re-Certification (Intermediate)

Standard First Aid Recertification meets all the OHS requirements for both Alberta and Saskatchewan.

The Standard First Aid Re-cert is a 1-day course that is open to anyone who:

• The re-cert must be done in the same month as the ticket expires
• Student must provide a copy of their certificate as proof at the beginning of the class

During this course, the following skills will be covered:

• Emergency Scene Management
• Secondary Scene Survey
• Severe Bleeding
• Wound Care
• Bone and joint injuries
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Automated External Defibrillation
• Choking

It is based on practical skills demonstration rather than videos and lecture.  Students will be required to pass the same written exam as the full course.
