Fatigue Management

Both the Hours of Service and a Fatigue Management program is a requirement for an Oilwell Exemption permit as well as an Energy Safety Canada Oilfield Driver Awareness course (ODA) Drivers must be able to produce certifications on the 3 elements to Maintain the Permit. Under the permit who must have training in the Hours of Service and Fatigue Management. Drivers, Dispatchers and the Safety personnel of the company.

Purpose

Is a North American Fatigue Management Program (NAFMP) That deals with the fatigue of the driver and ways to deal with fatigue related problems. Program deals with circadian rhythm (time of day effects the recognition of fatigue and how to minimize the effects of prolonged fatigue and how it effects the driver and safety resulting in a more profitable work environment.
